Progress and evolution up to 2003 mean that manufacturers must operate paying maximum attention to the environment, reducing consumption and waste and choosing technologies that respect the environment. This can be achieved by adopting an Environmental Management System, consisting of a series of rules that a company voluntarily submits to, in order to reduce its impact on the surrounding area, reducing the price that the environment has to pay, and continuing to improve in the future. The system is verified by an external, independent organisation according to the international ISO 14001 norms. Today Grivel is the first company in this sector to do it in the world. We won’t always be the only one but we’ll always be the first to have shown environmental concern.
Won’t all this make Grivel products more expensive?
Of course it won’t and our clients will have the guarantee that are products cost less to the environment and to the mountains that we want to preserve for our children and grandchildren. So will the products be ugly? Of course not. Beauty is a moral value originating from balance and respect not from violating nature.
To see that something is right and not to do it is a lack of courage.
Confuscious.
